In Alabama it all began over 100 years ago as Tomato (for young women) and Corn (for young men) Clubs. Although many things about the program have changed, members continue to master skills they will use throughout their lives. 4=H not only asks youngsters to "Make the best better," it gives them guidance to reach their goals.
