Royals attached is a map of where parking will be tonight for the varsity football game at Central.

You will pull into the parking lot off of Allentown Road in the entrance that is on the bottom of the map marked with the green arrow.

Tickets can be purchased using S2 Pass. There will be NO cash at the gate. Tickets can be purchased now on S2 and ticket price is $9.

Good afternoon JHS Families,

This call is to inform you of an incident that occurred at JHS today. There were maintenance mechanics preforming work in a mechanical room and triggered the fire alarm. At no point were students in danger. The building was evacuated and cleared before students returned to class.

Also, a fiber has been cut near JHS and we are currently without internet access or phones.

Please be patient with us as we navigate this inconvenience.

Santa Rosa County District Schools is aware of social media posts associated with the "Cat in the Hat" trend that have been circulating online.

We understand that messages like these can be concerning to students, families, and staff. Please know that Santa Rosa County District Schools takes all potential threats seriously. Local law enforcement agencies are aware of the situation and are actively monitoring it. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority.

Out of an abundance of caution, additional law enforcement and security personnel will be present on and around our campuses this week.

Students who receive messages connected to this trend should not respond or engage. Instead, they should report the message to a parent or guardian, school administrator, or law enforcement official. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and report any concerning activity to Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office at 850-983-1190 or Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers at 850-437-STOP (7867).

While we do not want to create unnecessary alarm, we take school safety very seriously and are sharing this information to keep our families informed. The safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority, and we appreciate the continued support and partnership of our families and community.

To Parents: If you forgot to order school pictures, you can still order online UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. After tonight, online ordering will close. Orders can still be placed by sending your envelope with cash or check to the school, or you can wait until re-order cards come out in a couple of weeks. Thursday, August 27th is picture day at JHS.

Make sure your child comes dressed in their chosen outfit and is ready to show off their best smile! Picture packet order forms have been sent home. All students need to have their photo taken for the yearbook even if you do not wish to purchase.
