What a DINO-mite way to kick off Summer Reading! 🦖🌭🍩

Our Jurassic Meat & Greet was packed with prehistoric fun, tasty treats, and lots of smiling faces. From meeting life-size dinos to enjoying hot dogs, games, and goodies, we had an absolutely ROAR-some time celebrating the start of summer at the library!

A huge THANK YOU to TSET and Little Debbie (McKee Foods) for generously donating drinks and desserts to help make this event extra special. Your support helped fuel a day full of fun and literacy for our community! A T-Rex sized THANK YOU to Jurassic Experience for bringing the dinos to life! Amazing!!

And most importantly, thank YOU, Jay community, for showing up, supporting the library, and encouraging a love of reading in our kids. Every story discovered this summer helps young readers grow, imagine, and explore new worlds. We are so grateful to spend our summer adventures with all of you. 💚📚

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!

Join us for a dino-sized Meat and Greet at our Summer Reading kickoff. Meet our Dino Ranger and come face to face with an adult dinosaur and a dino baby. Take photos, ask questions, and learn some roar worthy facts. You can also register for the Summer Reading Challenge while you are here. Grab a hot dog, play yard games, try temporary tattoos, and enjoy all the fun. It is all free as we launch Summer Reading 2026.

Baby Noah was completely fascinated by our iBeam Mobile floor projector today. From colorful lights to interactive games, there was so much to explore, wiggle toward, and smile about. We love seeing little ones discover the magic of play and learning together at the library!
