The Tornado Watch has been replaced with a Severe Thunderstorm Watch and expanded to the south and east across NE OK and into far NW AR, valid until 2 AM. Storms within the watch area may produce large hail and damaging winds tonight.

04/17/2026

Storms will develop along and ahead of a cold front and spread into northeast Oklahoma late this afternoon and into the evening. Storms will be capable of producing higher-end severe weather, such as very large hail, locally damaging winds and a few tornadoes.
