🎉Congratulations on 20 Years!

It started when Missouri Corn and local farmers began working together in 1999 to create a value-added market in northeast Missouri. The plant began grinding corn in September 2006. Twenty years later, POET Bioprocessing - Laddonia utilizes approximately 27 million bushels of locally grown corn each year to produce ethanol and high-quality livestock feed. 🌽

Here’s to the farmers, employees, and partnerships that helped make it possible. And cheers to many more decades of working together to grow demand!

Last week, Missouri Corn teamed up with the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council to host a Japanese Biotech Approval Committee at Missouri corn grower Scott Boschert's farm. The team learned about genetically modified (GM) corn traits and what practices GM enables farmers to implement. The visit not only builds partnerships with export partners but has potential to increase market access for U.S. corn in Japan.
