2026–2027 Jefferson Middle School Athletic Schedule Release!

As you view our athletic schedules for the upcoming school year, you’ll notice the Hardee’s logo featured on all JMS Athletics graphics. We are excited to announce that our local Hardee’s has partnered with JMS Athletics and generously sponsored free admission for all Jefferson Middle School students to every athletic event held at Jefferson Middle School during the 2026–2027 school year!

Each student will receive a JMS student ID at the beginning of the year, which must be presented for entry to all home athletic events.

We are incredibly grateful for Hardee’s support of our students, athletes, and school community. Their generosity will help make JMS athletic events more accessible and allow more students to cheer on their fellow Elks all year long.

Tomorrow's the night! Come on out to the JMS Instrument Fitting Night at 6 PM in the JMS Auditorium tomorrow, June 4! This is a great opportunity for students to have fun trying out all the different instruments available at JMS and find the right fit for them!

Rising JMS sixth graders and families,

JMS invites you to BE PART OF THE BAND! Next Thursday, June 4, we will host our first Instrument Fitting Night of the year in the JMS auditorium and band room. This event is the perfect opportunity for students to actually test out and play a variety of band instruments to find the best fit! We will also have a brief parent meeting to discuss important band information for the year and to discover why the JMS Elk Band is the place to be! 🎷🥁🎺

We can’t wait to see you there at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 4 in the JMS Auditorium! 🎶

Elk Nation, If you are driving down 11E coming from Morristown anytime in the next few weeks you will see something very cool! Courtesy of Jay Dalton our State Champions are on a digital billboard! It is on a 8 second rotation but it comes up right after the “Free Admission to the Korn Ferry” ad. It is the billboard right after Quikrete. We are so thankful for this awesome opportunity to celebrate our athletes and our State Champions! Go Elks!

Monday was a stellar day for middle school track & field athletes in Jefferson County, as Maury, Jefferson, and Rush Strong all returned from the TSSAA Middle School Track & Field State Championships in Knoxville with state gold, and countless more medals for their efforts.

What a season it has been for JMS Track & Field!

This group of athletes and coaches have put together one of the most memorable seasons in school history. From broken school records, personal records, and countless hours of hard work, this team represented JMS the right way every single day.

We are beyond proud and excited to be sending FIVE athletes to the TSSAA State Championship at The University of Tennessee on Monday!! These athletes have earned every bit of this opportunity through dedication, toughness, and commitment to their teammates and coaches.

A huge thank you to our coaches, parents, and supporters for the countless hours, travel, and sacrifices throughout the season.

The job’s not finished yet, Go Make History!!

We will be on site Monday giving live updates and live video when the events begin.

Dollywood Student Pick Up Procedures:

No parents will be allowed to enter the main entrance to JMS as this will allow easy access for buses to bring students to their designated pick-up area.

All parents should leave 11E and travel down Universal Road.

8th grade parents will turn right onto North Elementary School Road to proceed to their pickup location at Jefferson Elementary School .

6th and 7th grade parents should turn right onto south elementary school road and travel through the fairgrounds to proceed to their pickup location through the rear entrance of the JMS campus.

6th grade is to be picked up in the normal JMS car rider line.

7th grade is to be picked up at the front lawn of Jefferson Middle

8th Grade will be picked up at the front entrance of Jefferson elementary school.
