HEY. Come here. Do you know the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning? Severe weather can be cool to see but pretty please get off your front porch and take the weather seriously.

Think about it like a burger⤵
🍔 WATCH: We have all of the ingredients to make burgers. If you don't want a burger, think ahead about how you plan to avoid burgers.
🍔 WARNING: We are going to eat burgers RIGHT NOW. Like, NOW. Even if you didn't make burgers, maybe a neighbor did. Either way, burgers are in your area.

'Naders and severe thunderstorms are the same way. We either have the ingredients (which can be dangerous enough on their own) or we've got a suspected tornado or thunderstorm in or around the area.

The weather could be rough today depending on where you're at. Handle your burgers accordingly.

We are excited to share our collaboration with EMS to help promote infant safety and reduce sleep-related infant deaths!

In a collaborative effort to promote infant safety and reduce sleep-related infant deaths, the Cole County Health Department (CCHD) has partnered with Cole County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to distribute safe sleep kits directly to families during emergency response calls. Through this innovative partnership, EMS personnel will provide safe sleep kits and education to caregivers of infants or families with young children when responding to calls in homes where there is a need. The kits include essential items such as portable cribs, fitted sheets, and educational materials outlining safe sleep practices.
