🚨 The budget is now at the governor's desk! Don't forget to send the governor a letter!

Read the full sample letter and take action here: https://mosds.org/letter-to-the-governor/

Critical decisions impacting Self-Directed Supports (SDS) and services for Missourians with disabilities are now in Governor Kehoe’s hands.

Now is the time for families, caregivers, friends, faith communities, and supporters across Missouri to SPEAK UP.

We’ve created a sample letter you can personalize and send directly to Governor Kehoe urging support for:
- Restoring the Personal Assistance (PA) rate
- Fully funding Day Habilitation programs
- Protecting home and community-based care

For many families, SDS is what keeps loved ones at home — surrounded by family, faith, and community — instead of institutional settings.

Your voice matters. Your letter can make a difference.

Please share this post and encourage your family members, caregivers, church communities, friends, and networks to send a letter as well.
