Behind every call for help is a voice that answers without hesitation.

During National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, we want to recognize the Jefferson City 911 Communications Operators and the Cole County EMS Communications Operators for the critical role you play every day.

You are the link between chaos and coordination, providing clear direction, gathering lifesaving information, and supporting responders before they ever arrive on scene. Your work requires focus, resilience, and heart—and you deliver it all, every shift.

Thank you for being the steady presence our community depends on. We are grateful for you today and always.
