The Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson City was founded December 7, 1995, by a group of concerned parents and business/community individuals as an independent, not for-profit agency. The land and building (formerly a gas station) were donated December 1996 by Bill Wallis of Wallis Oil Company. The Club was elected to full membership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America December 31, 1999. The origi

nal building and addition was completed and fully operational by September 2003. In May 2004, the Club was accepted as a United Way, full member agency. In May 2017 the Clubs new home, the Railton Center was completed.
