Ever wanted to see a raptor up close? Now is your chance!

Join us at Wakonda State Park in La Grange on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 3 p.m., for an unforgettable experience. Representatives from the World Bird Sanctuary will be at the park to present their live bird program, "Raptor Awareness." Learn all about these powerful birds, their habitats and their vital roles in nature while getting an up-close look at them in action, including seeing some of them in flight!

Meet us at Shelter #1. Seating isn't provided at the shelter, so be sure to bring lawn chairs or blankets to kick back and enjoy the show.

For the safety of our human guests, the live birds and your furry friends, pets are not allowed at this event. Everyone is welcome to drop in, learn something new and experience the wonder of raptors face-to-face. We can't wait to see you there!
