Today, I would like to highlight one of our talented public servants, Rachael Wareheim, who serves as Chief Counsel for the Labor Division. Rachael specializes in workers’ compensation.

Rachael started working at the Attorney General’s Office as an Intern in 2008 at the Jefferson City Office. After law school, Rachael started as an Assistant Attorney General in the Labor Division in St. Louis. In 2015, she became a unit leader, then in 2021 Deputy Chief Counsel, and in 2025, she became Chief Counsel.

Recently, Rachael shared, “I am most proud of the opportunity I’ve had to mentor others, and build a culture of mentorship in the Labor Division. I’m incredibly proud of my staff and attorneys, and I’m grateful to each of them for contributing to the wonderful culture in the Labor Division.”

Rachael was also awarded the Women’s Justice Award in mentorship in 2024, the AG Award for Excellence in Administration and Management in 2018 and 2021, and the AG Award for Exceptional Service in 2019. I am proud of the work of this Office, of Rachael, and of our entire team of dedicated public servants who protect the rights and freedoms of all Missourians.

We have filed 26 felony charges against Kevin Greenhaw for allegedly defrauding Missourians of more than $330K by accepting payments for uncompleted construction of barndominiums and shop-houses.

When Missourians pay for work to be done on their homes, they deserve to receive what they were promised.
