The mission of the Foundation is to raise awareness and public understanding of issues impacting individuals and families living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. The Missouri Mental Health Foundation's (also referred to as MMHF or the Foundation) efforts battle stigma and discrimination, promote care and treatment, and foster inclusion in the community

and workforce. The Foundation collaborates with other organizations, in providing broad-based public education, awareness, and stigma reduction services. Such services may include positive media communications, PSAs, marketing to the general public, providing mental health resource materials and assistance, hosting and/or coordinating special events and training, and providing technical assistance in areas such as suicide prevention, Mental Health First Aid, eating disorders and educational awareness campaigns.

We are collecting donations to assemble Warm Weather Kits for individuals experiencing homelessness throughout our community and neighboring areas.

Extreme heat, sun exposure, and outdoor conditions can create serious challenges during the summer months. With your help, we can provide essential supplies and resources that promote health, comfort, safety, and dignity.

Every donation—big or small—makes a difference.

If you'd like to contribute, sponsor supplies, or learn more about how you can help, please contact us at (573) 635-9201 or [email protected].

Drop off location for donations:
223 E. Capitol Ave.
Suite 100
Jefferson City, MO, 65101

Together, we can show our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and supported. ❤️

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental health affects everyone, but many men still face pressure to "tough it out" or keep their struggles to themselves. The truth is, talking about your mental health takes courage.

This month, we’re encouraging open conversations, checking in on the people we care about, and reminding men that support is available when they need it.

A simple text, phone call, or conversation can make a difference.

Because mental health is health—and every person deserves support.💙
