Today marks one year since Jefferson County lost Representative Ken Waller, and his absence is still deeply felt by so many of us.
Kenny was more than a dedicated public servant and a strong voice for his community. He was a friend, a mentor, and the kind of person whose presence could brighten a room. His contagious laughter and unmistakable smile are missed every day, along with the kindness, humor, and heart he brought everywhere he went.
For those of us who had the privilege of knowing him through politics, campaign season will simply never be the same without Kenny. We miss the conversations, the stories, the laughs, and seeing that familiar smile along the campaign trail.
While a year has passed, the impact Kenny made on Jefferson County—and on the people fortunate enough to call him a friend—hasn’t faded.
Today, we remember Representative Ken Waller with gratitude, love, and plenty of fond memories. We miss you, Kenny. ❤️🇺🇸
