π¨ ETHICS MATTER β AND THE 39TH DISTRICT DESERVES BETTER
In 2024, the Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission issued a final adjudication involving State Rep. Andrew Kuzmaβs conduct while he served as an Elizabeth Township Commissioner.
This was not just a paperwork issue.
According to the State Ethics Commission, Kuzma violated Pennsylvaniaβs Ethics Act when he participated in actions β including voting β to approve the issuance/refunding of two township bonds that included payments to Dodaro, Matta & Cambest P.C., a business from which he was seeking and later accepted employment.
The Ethics Commission also found that Kuzma violated the Ethics Act when he failed to timely file his 2020 Statement of Financial Interests and then backdated the filing to make it appear timely.
As part of the order, Kuzma was required to pay $3,000 to the Commonwealth and file complete and accurate amended Statements of Financial Interests for calendar years 2017 through 2021.
Now voters in the 39th District have a clear choice.
Dylan Altemara, who just won the Democratic primary on May 19, is running to restore integrity, ethics, and accountability to this seat β and to be a real voice for the people of the 39th District.
Public service should be about serving the public, not using public office while pursuing private opportunity. Voters deserve a representative they can trust to put people first, follow the rules, and be honest on required ethics filings.
This November, the 39th District has a chance to turn the page.
