At today’s faculty luncheon, we honored this year’s retirees: Mr. Pittard, Mr. Farmer, and Coach Navas.
They were presented with rocking camping chairs because we know these guys aren’t going to slow down anytime soon! In fact, Mr. Farmer is not pictured because he’s currently chaperoning our annual National Parks Hawaii trip!

Congratulations on your retirement, everyone, and thank you for your many years of service to students, athletes, and education!

Mr. Cleveland, fearless leader of the annual Hawaii national parks trip, is currently traveling in paradise with 26 lucky JHS students and a handful of chaperones.
The first few days have been packed with both fun (macadamia nut farm and pineapple plantation tours), a visit to the Byodo-in Buddhist Temple, and trips historical sites (Pearl Harbor Museum and the USS Arizona Memorial).

🎓 YOU DID IT, DRAGONS! 🎓

Friday night was absolutely unforgettable as we celebrated the Class of 2026! The JHS Arena was packed with pride, love, and plenty of cheers as 328 graduates walked across the stage and into their next big chapter.

To our newest alumni: You have left an undeniable mark on JHS. Thank you for your leadership, your resilience, and your spirit. We will never forget you!

After careful consideration of our graduates and guests and due to the unpredictable nature of tonight’s weather, the Class of 2026 graduation ceremony has been relocated into the JHS Arena on the JHS campus.
The ceremony will be streamed live at two different links (the stream is the same at both links). Both links will be available in the first comment on this post. Links are also available on the Jefferson City Schools Website.

Students received 6 tickets at graduation practice today. We are unable to provide more tickets, and lost tickets cannot be replaced. Tickets will be checked at the door.

Doors will open at 7:00pm. Individuals may not save seats for others; please keep this in mind as you arrive.

Please remember this was not our first choice, but that our priority is to provide a safe, high-quality ceremony for our students that will provide them with a memorable capstone to their time in high school. Everyone is going to work together to make this a wonderful evening to remember.

Our final Rotary student of the month for the year was celebrated right around spring break and got a little lost in the chaos of that time- she’s graduating this week and we wanted to make sure she was appropriately recognized for that honor even if it’s late!
