We have wound down for the day, our first ever Glenn Marlatt Day is in the books, and we are grateful for those who came! Thank you to the vendors, the Marlatt Family and thank you to this wonderful community for all of the involvement.

Sorry to announce softball game cancelled due to lack of players. We do encourage everybody to please participate in the bike parade and all the other activities scheduled. Bike parade check in is 9:30 behind the food bank on Church street.

Just want to let everyone know that on Saturday during Glenn Marlatt Day the Jefferson Pool will be open from 1-5, with a throwback price of $1 per person.

Please comment if you would like to participate in the slow pitch softball game.

We need about 12 people to fill a team roster. It will be more fun than competitive and will only be 5 innings. Please respond asap so we know if we will have enough people to have a game.

One of my memories of Glenn is that he always had a large number of stuffed animals in his basket on his bike. In honor of that we here at the Museum want to create a display of treasured stuffed animals and toys that you have, if you would like to share them. We want to see your special stuffed animals or toys as well. Please reach out to us if you have one you would like to display for that day of June 18th, during the Glenn Marlatt Day. We will have them safely placed in the Conser House.

If interested, please send us a message with your name, so we may get your information. If you could bring your items by the Saturday before (June 11th) that would be wonderful Things to think about: Your stuffed animal's name and info about it, also why it is so important to you.

It's time to start planning your bike attire!
There are 5 categories to vie for a special prize. They are:

Best Use of Safety Equipment
Most Stuffed Animals (Glenn always brought his along)
Best use of duct tape, bungies, flashlight, and radio!
Best Basket or Trailer
Most Glenn like

This parade is for everyone! Register at 9:30am behind the Methodist Church . We look forward to seeing everyone!!!!

The 1st annual Glenn Marlatt Day will include a slow pitch softball game. Glenn had participated in many slow pitch softball games throughout the years and was always part of the coaching staff for the high school softball team. The family will have a team and we will be posting a sign up sheet for 1 to 2 additional teams to have a small tournament or just a single game depending on the interest from the community.
