On Wednesday, July 15th, a few of our senior ladies made these sun catchers. If you are a senior, or you know a senior, and would like to get out and do some crafts with fellow crafters, give us a call at the Jefferson Community Center. The number is (440)576-9052. Our seniors craft twice a month, so get signed up. Spaces are very limited.

Even though the Community Center and Meal Site are closed, our van service is still operational Monday through Friday 8am until 1pm. Please call (440)576-9052 if you are a senior or are disabled and you have local errands (such as local doctors, drug stores, etc) to run. We will also have a “runner” available during this time if you fall within these same categories and you cannot or do not have a desire to go out in public to pick up groceries or prescriptions. We want everyone to stay safe and healthy during this time, so please make use of our service or tell someone you know here in Jefferson about our service if they meet these criteria.

For all who have received their senior newsletters and saw that we are having a rummage sale on Saturday, March 30th, that was a misprint. The actual date is Saturday, May 30th. Also, if you’d like to reserve a table to sell your own items, the cost is $20 for an 8 foot table. This will be held at Giddings Hall. If you want to be outside, the cost is $10 and you bring your own table. Fi****ms, alcohol, gas powered machinery, and clothing are not permitted. Please give us a call at (440)576-9052 to reserve your spot today.
