What an incredible year of learning, growing, adapting, and making a difference in the lives of our students. We are so proud of these educators for embracing every challenge, celebrating every success, and becoming an important part of the GCMS family.

Year one is in the books, and they crushed it! ❤️🖤

🎉 Welcome Home, Caden Telleen! 🎉

Greene County is excited to welcome one of our own back home! ❤️🖤

Caden Telleen, a Greene County graduate, recently earned his degree from Iowa State University and will be joining GCMS as our new 6th Grade Social Studies teacher this fall!

Fun fact: Mrs. Hinote and Mrs. Pederson reconnected with Caden at an Iowa State recruiting fair, and after one conversation, we knew he would be a great fit for the Ram Family. We're thrilled we were able to bring him back home to Greene County!

Please join us in giving Mr. Telleen a warm Greene County welcome. We can't wait to see the impact he'll have on our students and school community!

Alright, we're not quite done yet. For the past two years, The Cave has been filled with great conversations, memorable moments, and plenty of laughs. But not everything made it into the episodes.

Nothing says summer is almost here like great food and even better company! ☀️

After the buses rolled out on Friday afternoon, teachers from both the elementary and middle school gathered to enjoy some food, fellowship, and time together as we wrapped up another amazing school year.

A huge thank you to Midwest Prime Steak & Seafood and Matt Salter for providing the meat, and to Doug Brown for firing up the grill and cooking for our staff. We appreciate your generosity and support of our schools!

It was a great way to celebrate the teamwork, dedication, and relationships that make our school community so special. ❤️🖤

After a fantastic run, it's time for the final episode of The Cave.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who listened, shared, and supported the podcast throughout its journey. Your encouragement and enthusiasm helped make this project a success and gave our students a platform to share their voices with the community.

A special thank you goes to the girls who dedicated their time, energy, creativity, and personalities to creating such a fun and engaging podcast. Their willingness to step behind the microphone, tell stories, ask questions, and keep the conversations going is what made The Cave such an enjoyable experience week after week.
