Are you looking to become a first-time homebuyer and need help covering the down payment and closing costs?

Government loan rates are available at 6.54% and conventional loan rates are available at 6.79% to qualifying first-time homebuyers. The assistance is 4% assistance of the final loan amount and is fully forgiven after 5 years. An additional $2,500 Heroes to Homeowners grant can be combined with the bond program for buyers purchasing in Jefferson Parish who work in healthcare and education, are first responders, or are active or former military members.
