You know what’s fun? Making a digital vocabulary dictionary for our social studies unit on Native Americans! After students researched and created slides on 4 different words- they participated in a Gallery walk. Publishing and sharing their work created so much positive feedback and communication together.

Before setting off to explore during Fall Break, Mrs. Lioi’s and Mrs. Gingrey’s students packed their passports and “traveled” the world to celebrate the end of Module 1 in Wit & Wisdom!

In ELA, students explored the cultures and traditions of Italy, Romania, Japan, Zimbabwe, and Mexico through hands-on activities that brought to life what they learned about how cultural beliefs and values guide people.

The adventure continued in Math with an around-the-world scavenger hunt featuring fraction addition and subtraction, followed by a paper airplane challenge where students made predictions, tested their designs, and measured their flights!

It was such a fun day of learning, creating, exploring, and making memories around the world!

Working together to solve a problem isn’t hard for third graders in Mrs. Fellows class. Students had to construct the tallest tower using only one material- index cards.

As we wrap up this year’s Dragon Fit festivities with our 3rd grade pictures, we want to extend one final thank you to our entire school community. To our sponsors and donors: your support provided the resources needed to run a high-energy, memorable event. To our teachers and volunteers: your hard work made every station run smoothly. And to our students: thank you for bringing your best effort! Dragon Fit was a resounding success because of all of you.

4th Grade Doctors are in the house!

Right before Fall Break, our 4th graders transformed their classrooms into interactive hospital settings to bring their Wit & Wisdom "Great Heart" unit to life. They spent the day applying reading, science, and math skills to tackle hands-on "medical" challenges!
