🚧 Attention Citizens 🚧

The Arcade City Park will be closing this afternoon and will remain closed until renovations are completed.

Pavilion renovations will begin on Wednesday, May 27th. For the safety of our visitors, the park will be closed during construction.

Please respect all barriers and posted signs while work is being completed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make our park even better for our citizens and visitors.

Please keep an eye on the Arcade City Hall page for updates regarding park closings and reopening information.

Looks like school is officially out for the summer. We LOVE seeing our citizens utilizing our park space. Thanks again Darrell and Kermit for keeping this area clean and maintained so we can enjoy it!!!

4:07pm Update: both lanes are currently open but MCCD is still on the shoulder with the tractor trailer so please travel through with caution ⚠️

Slowdown on 129 at Athens Highway intersection headed Northbound. The traffic is down to travel of the left lane only. Please be prepared to stop and drive slowly. Thank you!

📚As the school year comes to an end, please remember to use extra caution while driving through neighborhoods and around bus stops.

School buses may not be running at their normal times due to end-of-year activities, field days, testing schedules, and early dismissals. Keep an eye out for children walking, biking, and playing throughout the day.
