🚧 During this time, residents may encounter workers and equipment along the roadway.

🚗 Please slow down, drive cautiously, and watch for workers in the area to help keep everyone safe while this work is underway.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements are made to our community!

🐾 THIS SWEET BOY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME! 🐾

This sweet baby boy was found at the park a couple of weeks ago. From the moment our workers met him, he seemed to have such a sweet demeanor and was so excited to play and spend time with them. ❤️

Because the park is a public space where children play, and we didn’t know his full temperament or history, we had to make the responsible decision to call Animal Control to pick him up and ensure everyone’s safety.

I received an update from Animal Control this morning, and unfortunately, he is still there. 💔

The hardest part is hearing that the happy, playful boy we met at the park seems to be losing some of his spark. He isn’t jumping around and showing that same excitement anymore. He just looks so sad.

This boy deserves more than a kennel. He deserves a warm bed, a family to love him, a yard to play in, and people who will make him part of their family forever. 🐶❤️

🙏 Can you help us find his people?

If you have been thinking about adopting a dog, please consider giving this sweet boy a chance. And if you can’t adopt, please SHARE this post! You never know who might see it and decide to give him the loving home he deserves.

If you are interested in adopting him or any of the other fur babies currently waiting for homes through Jackson County Animal Control, please reach out to them for more information.

Let’s help this sweet boy find his happily ever after. He deserves to feel loved again. 🐾❤️🏡

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Happy National Heroes Day! ❤️
📅 October 8, 2026

Today, we’re celebrating the heroes who make a difference in our lives and in our community!

A hero doesn’t always wear a cape. Sometimes they’re the person who checks on a neighbor, a teacher who believes in their students, a first responder who runs toward an emergency, a parent who never gives up, or a friend who is always there when you need them. 💙

✨ Fun Fact: The word hero comes from the ancient Greek word hērōs, which referred to someone known for courage, bravery, or extraordinary qualities.

Today is the perfect day to recognize someone who has made a difference in your life.

💬 WHO IS YOUR HERO?
Tag them below and tell us why! 👇❤️

Let’s fill the comments with stories about the amazing people who inspire us! 🌟
