❄️ BRRR! Colder weather is here, Jefferson. Before you switch on your furnace or light up the fireplace, complete this quick safety checklist from Jefferson Fire & EMS:

1️⃣ Clear Exhaust Paths & Chimneys: Creosote buildup, bird nests, and debris in chimneys or sidewall furnace vents cause fires and dangerous carbon monoxide buildups. Clear them out before starting up gas, wood, or furnace systems!
2️⃣ Test Smoke & CO Alarms: Make sure alarms are functional on every floor.
3️⃣ Replace Aging Units: If your smoke or CO detectors are older than 5 years, it’s time to replace them with fresh units.

Ok folks! It's time to announce the winners of our breakfast raffle. Thank you to everyone who liked and shared out posts through out the week. We had some fun with AI photos and photos of our own. The 4 winners are Taylor Mannes, Erica Finger, Kenny Asselin, and Eden Pennington. You can claim your 4 tickets at the door on Sunday. We'll have a crew collecting admission and they will have your names. They can be a mix of adult and kids. We hope to see everyone on Sunday. We'll not only have breakfast but also will have our splash house for the kiddos and fire truck rides. See you Sunday!!
