We would like to thank everybody who attended and contributed in any way to the first annual chili cook-off to support 4-H camp. We ended up with 23 donated chilies and a nice crowd that came to support the kids! We will work to improve and grow this event for next year. We believe we made a nice amount of money to assist the 4-H kids as we were hoping. Thank you again

It's scholarship time again! The Ashtabula County 4-H foundation has our 2026 scholarship applications posted on our website. For this year available scholarships include the $1,000 Mildred Burhenne memorial scholarship. This scholarship is available to one high school senior that is pursuing education in the broad field of agriculture. The next available scholarship is the Yvonne Miller memorial scholarship also valued at $1,000. This scholarship is open to 1 female high school senior pursuing studies in agriculture with a priority given to the veterinary field. And as always the 4-H foundation has numerous scholarships available in the amount of $1,500. 4-H foundation scholarships are open to any field of study including 1 year technical schools and career specific education. These scholarships are available to Ashtabula County youth who have been involved in the 4-H program for a minimum of 5 years. Details are available on the website and applications are due in our office by April 1st. Also available we have campership assistance available for youth who would like to attend any 4-H sponsored camp in Ohio and would not be able to attend due to financial reasons. Value of these camperships depends on the number of applications, the amount of need, and the foundation budget. These are also due this year on April 1st. Details can be found at www.ac4hf.com. We are looking forward to assisting as many of our Ashtabula County youth as possible again this year. Last year of the 4-H foundation awarded 27 scholarships and assisted 17 youth with 4-H camp expenses. Good luck to everybody and thank you all for supporting the 4-H foundation!

A big thank you to everybody that helped make our 27th annual pig roast and auction a tremendous success again last night! Donors, sponsors, advertisers, and our guests all make it come together as a great event which in turn supports our local youth. Makes it all worth it for us. Thank you to my committee members who work so hard together to make it all happen! See you all at our next event

There are only a few tickets left available for tonight's 28th annual pig roast and auction. If anybody is still looking for tickets get a hold of Pat stitt or a foundation number before they are sold out. We are unable to accommodate additional people once the tickets are gone. Looks like we are going to have a super night tonight with a lot of fun, a lot of friends, and a lot of fundraising. See you there this evening

Thank you to everybody who participated in the dining to donate event last week at Ashtabula Applebee's. We had a great turnout and Applebee's will be issuing us a percentage of the money taken in that day from our supporters. Thank you to the staff and management at Flynn group and Ashtabula Applebee's. It is very much appreciated and will further help the youth of our county.
