FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY IS TOMORROW! Vendors will be set up in the parking lot between the courthouse and the ATM.

Cousins Maine Lobster, Sweet Treats by Mal, and Busy Fizz will be set up from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Revelation Coffee Co. will be set up from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

County offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th, 2026, in observance of Labor Day. Convenience Centers and the Landfill will remain open.

In partnership with Ashe County, the New River Conservancy is seeking grant funding from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality to remove the remains of Helene debris in the New River and its tributaries with the help of public reporting.

Landowners can report debris piles or significant pieces of debris in the flood plain of the New River, or adjacent to tributaries or creeks by filling out the Helene Debris form via the attached link.
