We are aware of an outage in the Wisconsin Drive and Copeland Ave areas. The guys are out there now. It appears to be due to equipment failure and should be out for about an hour. Thank you for your patience.

Since tomorrow is a Saturday, we are celebrating our Lineman a day early! Lineman Appreciation Day may be one day a year, but we want them to know they are appreciated EVERYDAY! In true Lineman fashion we were just sitting down for a yummy lunch when duty called and out the door they went!! This year is especially special for our crew. Earlier this year we had two Lineman, Nick M. and Jacob graduate apprentice school. And just this month we had Colton pass his Lineman exam. Congratulations to Nick M., Jacob and Colton on this huge accomplishment! If you see our crew out and about give them a wave "Hi" to show your appreciation!!!

PUBLIC POWER PROUD!!! After the storms went through on Monday night a line of 10 poles were knocked down along Highway Y. Here are some photos from Tuesday afternoon and into the early evening that show the hard work of our Lineman along with the help from our friends at Lake Mills, Stoughton and Waunakee utilities. The teamwork shown here got those poles back up and power restored. Thank you to all the customers who were affected by this outage for your patience. This is just one example of many reasons why Public Power is so important in our communities.
