JM student council members joined with student council memebers from around the tri-county area to attended the IU1 Student Forum Year End Banquet at Nemacolin Cluntry Club.

On Tuesday, JMHS Student Council members and students from across the IU1 region came together at the EQT Rec Center in Waynesburg for the Student Form Kickball Tournament. Together, we raised over $1,000 for homeless support across Greene, Fayette, and Washington counties, with funds split between all three.

On December 9th, JMHS Student council visited IU1 for the Student Forum Christmas party where troups worked together to build a sled, and then had a firey holiday luncheon.

Looking for the perfect gift? Student council is selling Makripodis Olive Oil. Makripodis Olive Oil is made from olives picked from the family vineyard in Crete. Congratulations to Student Council Sponsor Ms. Kniha. Ms. Kniha was honored today at the Greene County Association of School Retirees. Ms. Kniha won the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees 2025 PASR Loretta Woodson Award-In recognition of unselfish dedication and exemplary service to Jefferson-Morgan Middle/High School and the Jefferson-Morgan School District in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We thank you on behalf of the youth of today and the future of tomorrow.

And Ms. Kniha had a suprise special guest in attendance to cheer her on, JMES retired teacher Mrs. Charlotte Kuharic.
