Yesterday was Administrative Professional Day.
The town would like to recognize the following administrative employees for the work they do in managing the town hall operations. They are Town Clerk and Clerk of Court Stacey Cook, Assistant Clerk Andrea Alderidge, and Town Administrator Howard Garland.

Today, at the Dixie Youth Family Day located at the Jefferson Recreational Complex, State Representative Cody Mitchell presented 2 flags to Mayor Jim Miller of the Town of Jefferson. Sheriff Cambo Streeter was present as well, as the flags will replace the ones outside of the Jefferson Town Hall and Sheriff’s west substation.

The Town of Jefferson would like to thank all the citizens, who were a part of our Clean Up Day.
Special recognition goes to the work crews from Aalberts ( known previously as Conbraco), Sandhill Telephone Cooperative, and Hopewell Church. We must also appreciate the support of Palmetto Pride for the supplies. Finally, the coordination from our town employees, council. and Mayor. Thank you!

Attention
Scheduled water line repairs along main street are still in progress. We have had several reports that numerous residents throughout the town have no water or very low water pressure. Please be patient as work quickly to get this resolved.

Attention Jefferson Water Customers. There will be a planned waterline repair to a leaking fire Hydrant near Miller and Main street. Repairs will be made Monday April 13th. The water may be off in the area from the post office to the Golden Nugget on the east side of the road as they make repairs. It will be returned to service as soon as possible.
