PLEASE SHARE: Warming shelters and centers are open across Indiana for any Hoosier who needs to get out of the cold.

Shelters are a safe place for anyone needing to get out of the cold for a few hours or to stay overnight. Hoosiers who need additional assistance can call 2-1-1.

Recorder's Office Year End Update: It's been a ride to say the least. We now have all the pieces in place to finish the back loading of documents from the late 1700's to date. All these documents have been digitized. We have contracted with a vendor the help us complete the indexing and we are expecting to have this done by June of 2026 with all these records will also be available online with a subscription to Laredo Anywhere for Title searchers or for the single use person we have Tapestry pay as you go. By doing this we now have a backup copy of these very important historical records. Before I was elected there were no backup copies and I said this was my promise to get this project done and now we are nearing the finish line and to add we did it way under the original estimated cost of just over 2 million at a new estimated cost of 400k. The Clark County Recorders Office will close from 11am - 1pm on Thursday December 18th for our Christmas party.

Wednesday Dec 31th the Recorder's Office will stop recording documents at 2pm for end of year balancing. Thank you to everyone for another great year.
