Clarksville Community Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay Monday, January 13th. ​Please see the message below from CCSC!

In an effort to provide more visibility for students walking to bus stops and school, Clarksville Community Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay Monday, January 13th. ​ We will continue to monitor weather conditions and inform you of any other necessary changes.

Greater Clark County Schools will be on a 𝐓𝐖𝐎-𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐘 tomorrow due to inclement weather. Please stay safe and plan accordingly.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
🚌 Buses will run two hours later on their normal routes. Afternoon dismissal will remain the same.
❌ Morning preschool sessions are canceled. Full-day preschool will operate on the same schedule as elementary schools.
📚 There will be no in-person morning classes for Prosser Career Education Center Business Program. Afternoon session will run as scheduled.

If your child’s bus cannot safely pick them up, you will receive a notification. The driver will make this decision while on the route, which may cause a delay in mass communication. If alternative transportation cannot be provided, please notify your child’s school. Absences will be marked excused, and students will have time to make up their work.

Heads up, Clark County! - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 4:00 AM EST Friday to 7:00 AM EST Saturday.

Heavy snow, freezing rain, and hazardous conditions are expected, so please take this warning seriously and prepare now. Ensure you have essentials like food, water, and emergency supplies. Avoid unnecessary travel during the storm, and check on your neighbors, especially the elderly or those in need.

🚨Travel Warning in Effect for Clark County, IN🚨
🌨️ Date: 1/5/2025
🚦 Advisory Level: Red

The highest level of local travel advisory, means that travel is restricted to emergency management workers only. During a "warning" local travel advisory, individuals are directed to:

Refrain from all travel;
Comply with necessary emergency measures;
Cooperate with public officials and disaster services forces in executing emergency operations plans; and
Obey and comply with the lawful directions of properly identified officers.

Allow road crews to clear the roads. Please stay at home!

This status is in effect for the next 48 hours or until the conditions improve.

Today, Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at the 10 o’clock hour, I had the incredible honor of being sworn in as Clark County Councilman by the Honorable Judge Lisa Reger. This moment marks the beginning of my journey to serve the people of Clark County with integrity, dedication, and purpose.

The swearing-in of a public official is a deeply significant event—a promise to uphold the values of our great county and work tirelessly for every resident. I am humbled by the trust you have placed in me and inspired by the responsibility to make a positive impact for our community.

To the residents across Clark County who voted for me: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means everything, and I pledge to work hard for each and every one of you. Together, we can ensure a bright future for our county.
