Safety Town registration is now open! You can sign up for either an a.m. or afternoon session. Camps will be held June 3-7 and June 10-14 at the brand new Safety Town located at the Jeffersonville Fire Dept.

Safety Town is an awesome program for children (ages 5-7) to learn rules and guidelines on how to be safe around electricity, fire, and water. They also learn about stranger-danger, drug awareness and helmet, bike and traffic safety. This is a free program and lunch is provided. Special thanks to the Pilot Club of Jeffersonville, Indiana for making these classes possible for more than 50 years!

We are delaying the start of the Dumpster Drop-offs this week in response to Tuesday's storms.

As clean-up begins, our Sanitation and Street departments are working hard to get all available city dumpsters stationed in the hard-hit neighbohoods including Boulder Creek, Steeplechase, Brookhollow, and Crystal Springs.

TOMORROW! Light Up Jeff starts with the North Pole Party at 4 p.m. where you can meet Santa.

The Holiday Lights Parade will dazzle downtown at 6 p.m. Then, join us at Warder Park immediately after the parade as Santa flips the switch on this year's enchanting light display.

The City of Jeffersonville will be closed Wednesday - Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. This will impact the trash pick-up schedule.

If your normal pick-up day is Wednesday, it will be on schedule. Thursday and Friday trash will be picked up on Monday. Monday and Tuesday trash will be picked up on Tuesday.
