đźš’ Community Prayer Request đźš’

On behalf of the members of Cora Volunteer Fire Department, we ask our community to come together in prayer for one of our own.

City of Logan Firefighter Jordan Evans’ son, Jake, will be undergoing major open-heart surgery tomorrow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

The Evans family has always been there for others—offering comfort, support, and strength to those in need throughout our community. Now, it’s our turn to come together and be there for them.

We ask for:
🙏 Prayers for a successful surgery
🙏 Strength and comfort for Jake
🙏 Peace for his parents and family
🙏 Guidance for the doctors and medical team

The fire service is a family—and so is this community. Let’s lift Jake and the Evans family up with the same love and support they’ve shown so many others.

Newer smoke alarms have batteries that can last up to 10 years. You just need to check those this weekend but if you have an older one you need to change the batteries. (And any smoke alarm over 10 years old needs replaced!)
