Today, we recognize the outstanding contributions of several exceptional individuals. Our 25/26 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Katie Turner, and our 25/26 Support Staff of the Year, Mrs. Lacey Gentry, are commended for their dedication. We also acknowledge the retirement of Coach Stephanie Bolling, who has provided 34 years of service, making our school a special place. Your commitment will be greatly missed!

It has been a truly exceptional week! Our faculty and staff appreciated a delicious lunch courtesy of Cowart’s Cafe, generously sponsored by Mayor Varden, and a delightful ice cream bar organized by our outstanding Librarian, Mrs. Willis.
A sincere thank you to all the parents, students, and community members who made this week so memorable for everyone at JIS! It’s always a great day to be a Jemison Panther!

Today, we appreciated a delightful breakfast courtesy of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. Our teacher and staff also participated in a JIS Escape Room competition, with Team Lynn and Kids securing first place.
