☀️ A friendly reminder from the village: please keep grass clippings out of the street

When mowing your lawn, please do not blow or discharge grass clippings into village streets.

Grass clippings wash into storm drains and catch basins, where they can contribute to clogs and drainage problems. They also can create hazards for cyclists and motorcyclists.

Please direct clippings back onto your lawn. Keeping grass out of the roadway helps protect our storm-water system and keeps Jenera looking its best.

Thank you for doing your part to help care for our village. 🌱🏡

🇺🇸 The Village of Jenera wishes everyone a Happy Fourth of July as we celebrate 250 years of American independence! As we commemorate this historic milestone (1776–2026), we give thanks for the brave men and women whose sacrifice secured and preserved our freedom, honor those who continue to serve our nation, and celebrate the blessings of liberty we enjoy today. May we remain grateful for our rich heritage, committed to our communities, and hopeful for the future. We wish everyone a safe, joyful, and reflective Independence Day.

🧹 VILLAGE OF JENERA CLEAN-UP UPDATE

One of the clean-up dumpsters has arrived EARLY and is available now. We apologize for any miscommunication. The dumpster company simply dropped it off earlier than we expected.

🚩🚩🚩IMPORTANT NOTE🚩🚩🚩
Please stack the dumpster starting in the back and moving to the front to ensure all residents have a chance to take advantage of the dumpster.

Key Stacking Steps:
✅ Start at the back wall and pack tightly.
✅ Build forward as you load.
✅ Work your way to the front to finish.

Stacking items tightly helps avoid gaps and makes room for everyone. Your courtesy in loading efficiently is greatly appreciated!

🧹 Village of Jenera Clean-Up Weekend 🧹
A reminder to all residents—the Village of Jenera will be providing dumpsters for all village residents this Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th.

🚩 This service is for Village of Jenera residents only.

✅ Dumpsters Available:
Two dumpsters for general household waste
One dumpster dedicated to metal recycling

📍 Important Information:
- Village of Jenera residents only

- Do not place hazardous, harmful, or any other non-approved items in the dumpsters. (examples: Tires, paint, stains, and solvents, chemicals, batteries, oil, gasoline, or other automotive fluids)

- Help keep things running smoothly by being respectful and courteous to others while using the dumpsters

- Be mindful of space so everyone has a chance to take advantage of the clean-up

📚 Important Bookmobile Update 📚

Beginning June 8th, the Bookmobile will no longer be coming to Jenera.

However, the Bookmobile will still be available in Rawson every Thursday from 3:00–6:00 PM for anyone who would like to continue using their services.
