Congratulations to Captain Martinez on graduating from the Oklahoma Executive Fire Officer Leadership Program!👏

The Oklahoma Executive Fire Officer Leadership Program is a partnership between Oklahoma State University – Fire Service Training, Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Association, Oklahoma State Firefighters Association, and the Office of the State Fire Marshal. The 160 hour program utilizes the curriculum from the International Public Safety Leadership and Ethics Institute and has been developed to bring the concepts of leadership and ethics to the forefront of an individual’s career. Topics include: Developing a Personal Philosophy of Leadership and Ethics, Leading Others Ethically, Ethical Leadership in Organizations, Ethics and the Challenge of Leadership.

Roads Closed Due to Gas Main Break‼️

Police are shutting down:

- Main Street from Date to Birch
- “A” Street from from Date to Birch
- Aquarium Place from Date to Birch

They are also not allowing any foot traffic in this area. Please avoid this area if possible.

Only evacuations that have been necessary are a few businesses within this road closure area- Jenks High School is not in danger. If evacuations would be necessary, Jenks Police Department and Jenks Fire Department would alert the public and school.

Last week the held a Ribbon Cutting to officially welcome our new Fire Station to the community!
Jenks Central Fire Station (also called Fire Station 1) is located at 208 N. Elm Street.🚒

All visitors participated in a self-guided tour of the new station, and we had our amazing firefighters located throughout the facility answering questions, and attendees were able to participate in a ceremonial washing and drying of our newest fire truck.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! We are so excited for this new station and what it will provide for our firefighters and our citizens!
