‼️‼️Traffic Stop Leads to Recovery of Narcotics, Fi****ms, and Stolen Property‼️‼️

On June 14, 2026, Jennings Police Officers responded to a call at a local restaurant after a passenger in a vehicle requested that employees contact Law Enforcement.

Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the occupants of a gray SUV later identified as Christina Wilson and Gina Schrimpshire. During the course of the investigation, officers developed probable cause to search the vehicle.

The search resulted in the recovery of approximately 3.57 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 19.10 grams of suspected ma*****na, THC products, prescription medications, drug paraphernalia, and a digital scale commonly associated with narcotics distribution. Officers also recovered three fi****ms, including one handgun with an obliterated serial number.

It was also learned Wilson and Schrimpshire were staying at a local Airbnb and were in possession of property reported stolen from that location. The stolen items were recovered with assistance from the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Two juveniles who were present in the vehicle were safely removed from care of Wilson and Schrimpshire.

Wilson and Schrimpshire were both arrested and booked into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail on multiple felony narcotics, weapons, and cruelty to juvenile charges.
