Jeff Davis Electric Coop members South of the Gibbstown Bridge will experience a scheduled outage on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

This date is replacing the outage which was previously scheduled for June 4, 2026

The Outage is scheduled to last 10 hours, beginning at 8AM.

This outage is required to connect the Sturlese Substation in Creole to the 230kV Transmission line.

Members in Cameron, Creole, Holly Beach, Johnson Bayou, and Grand Chenier will be affected.

JDEC is working towards final completion of the 230kV transmission project, and we appreciate your understanding and patience with these dates having to be rescheduled for weather events.
