OUTAGE NOTIFICATION: Thursday, September 3, 2026, Starting at 6AM
Jeff Davis Electric Cooperative will have a scheduled outage on Thursday, September 3, 2026. This outage is required to remove connections from the 69kV transmission line and connect equipment in the Manchester Substation and Hackett Substation to the 230kV transmission line.
The outage will start at 6AM and is estimated to last 10 hours. This will affect members on the Manchester Substation and half of the membership on the Hackett Substation.
Manchester Substation members will be affected for the estimated duration of 10 hours. This includes members South of the substation on Hwy 14, Hwy 14 East, Hwy 27, Bullwhip Rd., E Todd Rd., W Todd Rd., Nick Martone Rd., Harrington Rd., Amoco Rd., Sohio Rd., Fruge Rd., and Delaney Rd.
Hackett Substation members in Sweet Lake and Grangerville will be affected for the estimated duration of 10 hours. This includes members on Chalkley Rd., Pine Pasture Rd., Illinois Plant Rd., Navarre Rd., Hwy 397, Helms Rd., Wardline Rd., Robinson Rd., Rossignol Rd., Fruge Rd., Levee Loop Rd., Natalie Rd., and Hwy 27 South to the Gibbstown Bridge.
Members in Grand Lake, if you were affected by the outage on August 14, 2026, you will not be affected by this outage.
This outage will not affect members in Morganfield.
