What a SUPER way to close out an incredible school year!

Our End-of-Year Brunch was filled with laughter, karaoke, celebration, and appreciation as we honored our retiring staff, recognized achievements from every department, and enjoyed some fun prize giveaways along the way.

This year was powered by dedication, teamwork, and the everyday superheroes that make our school so special. Thank you to every staff member for the impact you make on our students and community each day.

Now, we step into summer ready to rest, recharge, and prepare for another amazing year ahead!

Meet Amy Gobert, a 2027 Louisiana Principal of the Year semifinalist from Elton High School in Jefferson Davis Parish Schools.

Gobert focuses on high expectations, expanding opportunity, data-driven instruction, trust, and collaboration. Under her leadership, Elton High has seen measurable academic growth while strengthening shared responsibility among students and staff.

Follow along as we spotlight Louisiana’s excellent educators ahead of the live announcement of the 2027 Louisiana Teacher and Principal of the Year finalists during the Teacher Leader Summit opening session pre-show at 8:30 a.m. on May 26.
