Happy Birthday Cameron Gardner!
Cameron came to us with a nursing background and loves the adrenaline that come with being a firefighter, and anything that causes adrenaline really. She is also a mom and a wife.
She loves the outdoors and spending time at her kid's sporting events.
She plans on finishing out her education to become a flight nurse.
Thanks for being a part of Jensen Fire!

Happy Birthday Madi Schear!
Madi came to us with a medical background and a strong willingness to to succeed in the fire world. Once she puts her mind to something, she is dedicated and will see it through. She especially is into wildfire and has been with Jensen for two years.
Outside of fire Madi loves her family - she is to be married in August. She has a soft spot for animals, especially horses, loves the outdoors and hunting.

Like we said, just consider all of June to be in Red Flag watches or warnings.

Widespread critical fire weather conditions are expected today, and will continue through much of this upcoming week. This means fires will catch easily and spread rapidly! High-end fire weather conditions look possible on Tuesday due to stronger wind gusts, potentially around 30 to 45 mph, if not higher in some areas.

June 04, 2026: RED FLAG DAY
Gusty winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels.

Seriously, let's just tiptoe through June like everyday is a Red Flag day.
Be safe out there.

All of Utah, all of it. Please be careful out there.

Seriously, we can not say it enough; "Move to the right for sirens and lights".
We all deserve to go home at the end of every call.

This is why moving over matters.

This morning on southbound I-15 in Bountiful, one of our Incident Management Team members was assisting a stranded motorist when his vehicle was struck on the shoulder of the freeway.

Thankfully, he is okay.

But this was the second UDOT vehicle hit in less than 24 hours. The night before, a vehicle supporting Express Lanes work in Utah County was also struck.

When you see emergency vehicles, tow trucks, incident responders, maintenance crews, or law enforcement stopped along the road:

PLEASE Slow down. Move over. Pay attention.

These are real people doing real work just a few feet from traffic.

2026 Safety Stand Down Theme:
Firefighter fitness: Fit to Serve, Fit for Life.

Fitness should be a critical component in our industry. Our communities, brother and sisters, and our families are counting on us to do our job exceptionally well and return home. The better shape we are in the better we can preform our responsibilities.

F - Foundations of Firefighter Fitness
I - Intentional
T- Technique
N- Nutrition
E - Evaluate
S - Sleep!
S - Strategies for Sucess

We all can get better in atleast one of these subjects.
Take the challenge, improve your overall health - what do you have to lose...?

As school lets out and kids spend more time outside, it’s the perfect time for a reminder about staying safe on the road and trails. May is Trauma Awareness Month — a time to focus on preventing injuries before they happen.

With Utah’s updated e-bike laws now in effect, families should take time to review the rules, wear helmets, and talk about safe riding habits before summer adventures begin. Whether riding a bike, scooter, ATV, or e-bike, safety matters for every age.
