Today, and every day, Jeromesville stands in gratitude for the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform.

Your courage, your sacrifice, and your continued service to others—often long after your military duties end—make our community stronger. Whether you served here at home or far across the world, you have carried the values of duty, honor, and commitment that define the very best of us.

On behalf of a grateful village, thank you.
Thank you for answering the call.
Thank you for protecting our freedoms.
Thank you for setting the example of what it means to serve.

With deep respect,

Mayor Spade

Just a friendly reminder that ATVs are not permitted at Fort Jerome. The grounds are carefully maintained and the recent activity down there tore up some of the property and will impact our ability to do so in the Spring melt.

Thanks, everyone!

At tomorrow's meeting, Council will officially declare Councilman Cordes' seat vacant and will begin accepting applications from interested parties to replace him on the council.

They have asked that qualified candidates attend the meeting tomorrow night if possible to register their interest in the seat. Those not able to attend the meeting should submit, in writing, an interest letter to be considered. Council will deliberate at their October meeting (10/15 at 6PM) before any other items are considered and select their candidate at that time.

Those not able to attend the meeting tomorrow evening must submit their letter of interest no later than 5:00PM on Tuesday, October 8 so that their letters may be included in the Council packets that are distributed to members at that time.

Please bring a letter of interest with you tomorrow to the meeting if possible or email letters of interest by the deadline to [email protected] for inclusion.

*Mr. Cordes applied for and was selected by the Village Administrator to fill the open Maintenance Supervisor position that was posted on the website last month and cannot serve in both capacities. His written letter of resignation was received by me prior to accepting the position with the Administrator. He would like to thank the community for the opportunity to serve and feels that he can make a greater positive impact in the community serving the town daily in this new capacity.

Thanks & we hope everyone has a great week!
