Just a quick reminder about school bus safety.... Our bus drivers do an amazing job getting the kiddos to and from school /events, let's show them some respect and obey the traffic laws.......

It’s back to school time! The first day for Wooster City Schools will be tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19th! Your morning commute may be a little different due to school busses & school zones. Let’s work together to keep our kiddos safe. Slow down and be aware of your surroundings. Every school zone is 20 MPH. Here’s a graphic to help answer any questions involving school busses.

JFD day crew took some time today to visit Hillsdale Schools to remind everyone to drive safely now that school is back in session.
We would like to wish all the students, teachers, faculty, athletes and parents a safe school year!!

The little Falcons visited the firehouse last week for safety town and as usual, had a blast touring the house, learning about fire safety and spraying the hose to put out the house fire. FF Eaton showed them that a fireman in full gear is nothing to be afraid of.
Thank you Hillsdale Local Schools for sharing the kiddos with us, they are always a pleasure to be around.

Members of the Fire Department spent last Saturday with a third party hose testing company performing our annual hose and ladder testing. 7,660 feet of hose and 6 ladders were tested to make sure they perform to the NFPA standards to keep our firefighters safe while performing their job. We would like to thank Hillsdale Local Schools for allowing us to use their parking lot .
