🔬 “This is why I like coming to school early—Mr. T always brings in cool stuff.”

That was a student's reaction to getting an up-close look at human muscle tissue under our new microscopes!

We love seeing curiosity come alive when students have the chance to explore, investigate, and discover something new—sometimes even before the school day officially begins. 🔬🧪

🔨 Building skills from the ground up in Forge!

For their first mini-build of the year, students were challenged to design and construct a free-standing tower. Along the way, they practiced some of the skills at the heart of Forge: teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and safe, effective tool use.

The towers may have been the final product, but learning how to build, collaborate, and bring an idea to life was the real goal. 🛠️🔥

🦈 Shark Tank, Kindle style!

From Day 1, Kindle students are learning by doing. In Spark, students worked in small groups to identify something that could make their school or community better, develop an idea, and then pitch it to their classmates.

Along the way, they practiced skills that show up across the Kindle experience: collaborating, ideating, communicating, and presenting with confidence.

At Kindle, these aren't skills students wait until high school—or adulthood—to develop. We create opportunities to practice them from the very beginning. 🔥

🦎 Meet Lizzie, one of Kindle’s most popular community members!

Whether they’re holding her for the first time or already seasoned lizard handlers, our students love spending time with Lizzie the Lizard. 💚

Just another day at Kindle—where curiosity comes in all shapes, sizes, and species. 🔥

Day 2, here we go! 🔥

Yesterday, we kicked off the 2026–27 school year with all of our new and returning students—and today, we’re giving a special shoutout to the newest members of our community: our 6th graders! 🧡

We loved welcoming this new class to Kindle and seeing them begin to learn the ropes, meet new classmates and teachers, and find their place in our community.

Here’s to day 2 and a great year ahead for all of our Kindle students! 🔥

🔥 Today, Kindle High School officially opened its doors!

This morning, we welcomed our founding 9th grade class for their first day of high school—and marked an exciting new chapter in Kindle’s story.

Three years ago, Kindle opened with one class of 6th graders and a vision for a different kind of education. Today, many of those same students are helping us take the next step as the founding class of Kindle High School.

We’re so excited for all they’ll learn, create, discover, and build together over the next four years. Here’s to our founding 9th graders—and to the beginning of something special. 🧡🔥

We’re almost back! 🔥

Last week, new and returning Kindle families came together for our Family Meet-Up—a chance to reconnect, meet our staff, welcome new faces, and kick off the year in community. We loved seeing our Kindle community together again and can’t wait to officially get the 2026–27 school year started tomorrow!

📚 Reminder: Tomorrow, September 8, is the first day of school and an early release day!

🔥 Middle School: 9:00 AM–1:25 PM
🔥 High School: 8:30 AM–1:50 PM

Enjoy the rest of your Labor Day, Kindle families. We’ll see you tomorrow! 🧡

AI agency starts with learning by doing. 💡

Today, we welcomed leaders and engineers from Playlab to Kindle for a hands-on professional learning session focused on AI Agency—helping our educators think critically and creatively about how AI can support their work and student learning.

Then, our staff got to build. With support from the Playlab team, educators began developing their own AI-powered apps designed around real needs and opportunities in their classrooms and across our school.

We’re excited to keep exploring what it looks like for educators—and ultimately students—to move beyond simply using AI to actively shaping what it can do. 🔥

There are many reasons families choose Kindle—but at the heart of them is a desire for their child to be truly known, challenged, and supported.

We’re building a school community where students are respected as individuals, encouraged to grow, and surrounded by adults and peers who care about who they are and who they’re becoming.

We’re grateful to the families who have chosen Kindle and trust us to be part of their children’s journeys. 🧡

✨ Find Your Spark. Forge Our Future.

✨ A little throwback to our 8th Grade Formal last spring!

We loved celebrating this incredible group as they wrapped up their middle school years at Kindle—and now, we’re just a few weeks away from welcoming them back for another first: becoming Kindle’s founding 9th grade. 🔥

We can’t wait to see what they build, discover, and accomplish as they help shape the next chapter of Kindle Education.

High school, here we come! 🎓
