The Hudson County Housing Resource Center, Inc. (HCHRC) is a non-profit organization created in 1991 by the Board of Chosen Freeholders and the County Executive of Hudson County. The goal of HCHRC is to serve, protect, and maintain the affordable housing stock through the provision of direct counseling, information and education services to address the hardships and negative effects of the afforda

ble housing crisis, particularly of those faced by low and moderate low income individuals/families. HCHRC is a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Certified Housing Counseling Agency providing free and confidential one-on-one rental counseling. Additionally, HCHRC is a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). Currently we have one 8-unit building in West New York.
