BAYONNE DESERVES LEADERSHIP THAT LISTENS, SERVES, AND STAYS ACCOUNTABLE.

Melissa Alexander is running for a full term on the Bayonne Board of Education, with a stated focus on students, responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources, transparency, and thoughtful decision-making.

Currently serving as an appointed Board trustee, Alexander is asking Bayonne residents to learn more about her priorities and her view of the responsibilities that come with serving on the Board. Public reporting confirms she was appointed in 2026 to fill a Board vacancy.

Today is Election Day.

Over the past months, we have shared conversations, listened to stories, and witnessed the hopes that so many families have for Hudson County. This campaign has never been about one person—it has always been about our community and the future we want to build together.

As voters head to the polls today, we are reminded that every voice matters. Every vote represents a dream, a concern, and a vision for a stronger, more transparent future. Today, we have the chance to make history and create positive change for generations to come.

One day remains- THE LAST MAN STANDING IS A WOMAN.

As we stand on the eve of Election Day, I want to take a moment to thank every person who has supported this journey. This campaign has never been about signs, banners, or politics—it has always been about people.

While campaign signages may have come down, my commitment to Hudson County never did. Throughout this campaign, I continued showing up, connecting with residents through social media, attending community events, visiting food pantries, participating in food giveaways, and listening to the concerns of families across our communities. Because serving people doesn't stop when the signs come down—it starts with being present.

Tomorrow, Hudson County has the opportunity to choose leadership rooted in integrity, transparency, accountability, and genuine service. I am honored to have earned your trust and support along the way.

The last man standing is a woman.
