Cleaning up for 2017...

Facebook recently decided that this page is a "Landmark & Historical Place in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania".

They made that change without asking permission first, and there is now no obvious way to change it.

One of these days I'm going to nuke my pages/profiles/whatever from orbit and leave them shattered and confused remnants filled with garbage. They can have their machine learning try to make sense of the pieces and reconstruct an advertiser friendly profile. You did know that Facebook creates profiles for folks who don't have Facebook accounts?

On a lighter note, the off-grid experiment started at Creekside last year worked quite well, and should be expanded to include some basic automation in the near future: who wouldn't want some gentle LEDs to come on in the forest at night with the touch of a button on your phone...

Are you one of the few people that aren't interested in having a Facebook account? As it turns out, you might not have a choice in the matter.

So we got some rain recently!
