📢 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝘅 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸

The Jersey Village Fire Department will conduct a storm siren sound test at Carol Fox Park on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 at 10 a.m. The test will last about 10 minutes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as the Fire Department performs this safety check.

No action from the public is needed. The test is routine maintenance to keep our emergency alert systems working properly. Regular testing maintains the reliability of these systems so they can alert the community in the event of severe weather or other emergencies.

❗ The test will be very loud and reach high decibel levels. Parents of noise‑sensitive children may want to plan ahead.

Introducing our new Ford F-350 Super Duty utility. This unit is replacing a Chevrolet 1500 and is a much needed upgrade!

This unit will be used by logistics staff and firefighters for towing trailers, equipment movement, and other miscellaneous department support tasks. It also provides the department with an additional resource that can be used to support emergency response operations when needed.

All upfitting on this vehicle was completed in-house by Fire Department staff, reflecting the skill, dedication, and resourcefulness of our team.

While it may not be a traditional fire/EMS apparatus, utility vehicles like this play an important role in keeping our crews equipped, supported, and ready to serve the community.

Today, Jersey Village Fire Department recognizes International Firefighters’ Day.

We honor the dedication, courage, and sacrifice of firefighters everywhere, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

To our Jersey Village firefighters and firefighters around the world, thank you for answering the call and protecting others every day.

At 1:37 a.m. last night, Jersey Village firefighters were dispatched to a reported house fire. Our crew arrived on scene in approximately 3 minutes from dispatch and quickly went to work to bring the incident under control.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

We would like to thank Cy-Fair Fire Department and Cypress Creek Fire Department for their assistance on scene, Klein Fire Department for covering our station during the incident, and North Comm and the Jersey Village Police Department for their support.

Incidents like this highlight the importance of strong teamwork, rapid response, and the partnerships we rely on to protect our community.

C-Shift crews had a little “duck duty” today! 🦆

Firefighters responded to assist with a group of ducks in need and were able to safely rescue them without incident. It was a great reminder that public service comes in all shapes and sizes even the feathered kind.

🗳️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝗻𝗱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆!

In addition to electing at large Councilmembers for Place 1, Place 4, and Place 5, the election will ask residents to vote on whether the Jersey Village Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District (FCPEMSD) should be continued for twenty (20) years and whether the FCPEMSD sales tax should be continued for twenty (20) years.

To help residents make an informed decision on this ballot issue, this one-pager provides a quick overview of the FCPEMSD's history, staffing, equipment, and demand within the Jersey Village Community.

For more information or questions about the FCPEMSD, please don't hesitate to reach out to the City Manager, Mayor, and/or City Councilmembers prior to the election.

On April 2, 2026 between 10:00am and 12:30pm, city and county authorities will conduct multiple system alerting tests with landline, cellular calls, text messaging and email. This exercise will help to confirm functionality, build confidence in activating and operating technology, prepare the community to receive emergency messages, prompts community members to consider making plans for disasters, and identify areas of concern for improvement before an actual emergency occurs.

If you have not already signed up for alerts in your community, please go to you county or city website and sign up for alerts. For the City of Jersey Village, you can go to the city website at www.jerseyvillage.gov , click on stay connected and at the bottom of the page sign up for alerts. It doesn’t take but a few minutes.

Tomorrow, April 2 we will test this system.

At 0641 today, Truck 101 was officially placed in service, marking a historic milestone for the Jersey Village Fire Department. By 0921, it had already responded to its first call for service.

Truck 101 is the first aerial apparatus in our department’s history, significantly enhancing our ability to respond to emergencies, perform elevated rescues, and better protect lives and property throughout our community.

This achievement is the result of hundreds of hours of planning, training, and in-house upfitting by our dedicated personnel, ensuring the apparatus is fully equipped to meet the needs of Jersey Village.

Last week, Engine 101’s crew had the opportunity to train alongside E1, E6, and E10, strengthening coordination, communication, and operational readiness.

Joint training like this is critical to ensuring seamless response during emergencies, allowing crews to operate efficiently and safely across jurisdictions. These evolutions focused on teamwork, tactics, and reinforcing the strong partnerships we rely on every day.
