📣You’ve all been waiting, and we are so excited to announce that registration is now LIVE for all of our events for Jersey County’s 250th Jubilee on September 5th!

We are capping off our America’s 250th celebration with a day full of fun, food, music, and community!

🏃Start the morning off at 7 a.m. with a Color Run at Wock Lake! This Color Run is sure to be fun for the entire family whether you want to walk, run, or cheer on participants from the sidelines. Coffee, juice, and donuts will be available for ALL attendees!

ATENNTION VOTERS: If you are currently enrolled in Permanent Vote-by-Mail, you will receive a postcard in the mail prior to each election, notifying you that a ballot is coming. If you plan to vote-by-mail as usual, no response is needed.

If you wish to OPT OUT of the program and vote in person, please sign the card and return it to our office via mail, email or in-person.

The postcard also serves as an extra safeguard for the system, because if it is returned to us by the postal service, we will not mail a ballot. Please keep in mind that if you opt out of PVBM, you can always re-enroll or simply request a vote by mail ballot for a single election.

PLEASE READ: If you are an active registered voter in Jersey County, you have recently received a letter regarding vote-by-mail.

⚖ Under Illinois law, the County Clerk is required to send correspondence about voting by mail to all registered voters about 90 days prior to each General Election.

📪 This mailing ensures that voters are aware of their options, but it comes with a significant cost. Therefore, we offer the choice to be removed from our mailing list for receiving future correspondence about voting by mail.

❌ If you DO NOT intend to participate in Vote by Mail, we encourage you to check that option and return the letter to our office either by mail, in person, for via email. This action can help our office reduce costs and make more efficient use of public funds.
