Jersey CUSD No. 100 extends our sincere thanks to the Jerseyville Police Department, Jersey County Sheriff’s Office, Jerseyville Fire Department, Jersey Community Hospital EMS and Emergency Room providers, our dedicated staff, and our student actors for their time, professionalism, and collaboration during the simulated emergency drill on our April 2nd Professional Development Day.

While the primary goal was to test our local emergency response systems, our school district gained valuable insights that will help us continue to strengthen our practices and enhance the safety of our entire school community. We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to keeping our schools safe.

🚨 Community Notice – Training Exercise 🚨

On Thursday, April 2nd, from 12:30–3:30 PM, Jersey Community Unit School District 100 faculty and staff will be partnering with our local First Responders for a planned training exercise at Jersey Community Middle School. Our students will not be in session this day.

You will notice emergency vehicles at the middle school and sports complex during this time. Please do not be alarmed — this is only a drill, and there is no emergency.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our First Responders to ensure we are always prepared and keep our students and staff safe. 💙

Thank you for your continued support!
