We are so grateful for Thomas Lane who launched a coat drive for our population! The coat drive was called “Coat off Your Back” and provided those being released into the community with a warm coat. This was a collaboration between his organization “Released Project”, and a church he does ministry with “City of Hope Missionary Baptist Church”. Thank you to all of those who participated to keep our mission moving forward! 🧥🧤🧣

Of course the Howard County Department of Corrections was present for the Polar Bear Plunge! As a department we raised over $2,500 towards the Special Olympics! The campaign which included the Maryland State Police, Fire, Corrections and Sheriff’s Office, raised a whopping $341,667! We want to thank all of our employees who fundraised, donated, took the plunge, or showed your support! See you next year! ❄️

In 2026 one of our major goals is to do more community outreach. We started with providing adult coloring books to a nearby senior center. Hoping to bring a little cheer during the winter to our neighbors all around Howard County
