📢 **IMPORTANT PROPERTY TAX BILL UPDATE** 📢

We would like to inform the public that **2026 Property Tax Bills have NOT been mailed out yet.**

The **Assessment Notices from the Wayne County Tax Assessor’s Office were mailed on September 30, 2026.** Please note that these are assessment notices and are not your property tax bills. If you have any questions regarding the assessment notices please contact the Assessor's Office at 912-427-5920.

Property tax bills will be mailed at a later date. We will provide an update once they have been mailed.

We are back up and running!

The Tax Commissioners office is currently experiencing issues with DRIVES, the Georgia Department of Revenue’s motor vehicle system used for registration and titling services. This statewide issue is affecting all Georgia counties.

We kindly ask for your patience, as wait times may be longer than usual while the issue is being resolved.
